The GS cartridge I have is version 2.2 and I'm pretty much at the end of my rope here.
Got back home and nothing.Īs I'm posting this, I'm on my way back to the shop yet again, this time with the Stadium cartridge and even my personal 64 (the only difference between mine and the shop is that they have a grey default design while mine is the Pikachu edition). This time, I made sure to enable the DKR code, went back to the main menu, this time it said "1 Cheat Enabled" and went to "Start Game With Selected Cheats". Tried driving down to the shop again and it still said "0 Cheats Enabled".

I thought I enabled the 'Diddy Kong Racing' code since that is what is required for Stadium but as soon as I tried it at home, again it was stuck on the '8' LED display and nothing loaded. I tried taking the cartridge to the local game shop in town and they seemed to get it to work almost immediately with 'Crusin' World' and the first screen said "0 Cheats Enabled" (I might be wrong on the exact wording). I tried running it in my own 64, and all it does is display '8' on the GS LED. I'm trying to get it to work for Pokemon Stadium so I can eventually get the prize Pokemon I want (via the gym leader castle) since it is oh so obvious that the AI cheats.
