Please inspect the car, and ask many questions before bidding! The car is over 50 years old, and is far from perfect, but is very presentable. It draws a lot of attention everywhere I take it. Stock exhaust manifolds with free flowing mufflers, and the stock "Sprint" chrome valve covers. It has an edelbrock intake, and a holley 4 barrel carb. It does not leak, or burn any oil or coolant. The engine is a 260, and was rebuilt at some point by a previous owner. The car was converted to an alternator, and charges fine. The gas gauge, speedometer, and coolant temp gauges all work. The deluxe windshield trim has started to pit, and should be rechromed to be perfect. The interior is presentable, but not perfect. The undersides of the fenders look good, and they appear to be orginal, and rust free. The area below the battery box was corroded/rusted, and repaired using fiberglass by a previous owner. The frame rails, and floors are all original, and in very nice shape. A spare valance in similar condition is included in the sale. The rear "Sprint" valance has a dent in it. It was not installed 100% perfect, and is noticeable at the seams. The right rear quarter panel was replaced at some point by a previous owner. Some minor play in the steering linkage.įactory rear operates fine, and is quiet. Starts hot, or cold every time.Īlignment is good. Now if I search my business name under the auto populate I see it with Independence, KS on the listing.
